| Me watching Man of Steel while I get my cancer Kryptonite! |
time you see me, I may be wearing an oh so stylish, better version of my hair, or maybe just a tie-dye hipster looking scarf!
This week is chemo week, next week my immune system will be at its lowest and I need to be especially careful, but the week after is my "off" week where I can be out and about. This will be repeated 5 to 7 more times. I'm aiming for 5!
Special thanks to my family that was able to make it out here for a visit before "the fun starts". And those that didn't make it made it a point to call me or Jeff to see how we are doing. Also, thanks for all the help my kids have given me around the house and getting gear for the long road ahead to help with the recovery from chemo treatments. And all my friends that have brought by the food to fatten me up a bit before my appetite decreases. And of course Jeff, with is uncanny way of making me laugh during the more trying times - you've really been such a great support.

Holly, you make me smile! When I grow up one day I want to be just like you! (I hope I don't repeat myself too much - forgive me if I do) You are my hero. Always have been and always will be. I love you, and I'm so glad (i think) to see you at your desk working. (I'd rather see you sunbathing on a beach in Hawaii, but that will come next) Keep up the good work and know that I'm thinking of you often and praying for you.
ReplyDeleteHello Holly,
ReplyDeleteI wanted to say that I have been thinking about you and I have been saying prayers for you. You are an amazing woman and I know you will beat this because you are a fighter! Cancer is NO MATCH for you. :0) I will continue to pray for you and your family.
Keep 'fighting' the good fight.
