Not much to report other than Holly's counts were low last Monday (as expected). She had a PET scan this morning, and hopefully we'll have results on Monday during her 3rd (of 6 to 8) chemo sessions.
Hopefully we'll have positive news to report Monday.
Keep your fingers crossed.
It is very disconcerting when getting a PET scan and they bring out the syringe that has 5 pounds of lead around it to protect the person giving you the shot, but yet that radioactive material goes straight to YOUR veins.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad to hear things are going well so far with your treatment. Call me anytime if you need anything or even just to compare treatment. When you are able to see them again, give those beautiful grand kids of yours a big hug for me and Wey. And slap Jeff on the back of the head for me., I'm sure he did something to deserve it. :)
Love you all.
Your last comment really had to make me laugh. I have to say though, he's really been great through all this.
DeleteJust because mom won't smack him doesn't mean I won't!
DeleteJust for fun, of course.
DeletePraying for you Holly!
ReplyDeleteI hope you get good news today. :o)
